What you will do
- Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for buildings using a range of materials and current building codes.
- Support projects including cultural buildings, offices, health care facilities, research facilities, and tenant renovations.
- Coordinate design work with internal staff, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
- Prepare construction documents within a BIM environment.
- Travel within the US and internationally as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
- Working knowledge of current industry software, including SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D, PCA Software, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Experience with small-size building projects and tenant renovation work, preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
