Localization Program Manager (i18n/l10n): Leading end-to-end localization of product features for global users with an accent on localization strategy, multilingual content quality, and cross-functional delivery. Location: San Mateo, California, United States; hybrid with onsite office attendance Tuesday through Thursday and optional presence Monday and Friday.
Annual salary range: $167,070–$206,580 USD. Full-time employees are eligible for equity compensation and benefits.

What you will do
- Own the internationalization and localization process for product features from initial planning through delivery.
- Represent the needs of international users across Product, Engineering, Design, International, and Community teams.
- Define localization requirements, scope, timelines, and strategies aligned with product roadmaps and business goals.
- Guide stakeholders in localization best practices and integrate requirements early in the development cycle.
- Identify and resolve technical and process issues affecting localized product relevance, quality, and functionality.
- Coordinate localization resources and deliveries to ensure high-quality multilingual content production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Localization, International Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in localization or program management, ideally in technology or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of localization tools, CAT systems, and translation management platforms.
- Experience localizing products for multiple languages and markets.
- Knowledge of internationalization standards, strong analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize strategically.
- Fluency in English required. Additional languages are a plus.
