What you will do
- Lead the regional collections organization and directly manage CX Supervisors and Collections Specialists.
- Coordinate operations between regional collections teams and the Central Division Business Service Center.
- Report collection performance, DSO trends, aging account risks, and portfolio strategies to senior executives.
- Set accountability for DSO reduction, cash-flow targets, and aging-balance recovery.
- Coach, mentor, and manage the performance of a high-performing collections team.
- Partner with customer resolution, project management, and field operations teams to remove payment roadblocks while protecting customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading back-office, accounts receivable, collections, or customer service functions in a multi-business-unit distribution environment.
- 3+ years of experience motivating, influencing, and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, strategic thinking, problem-solving, cash-flow optimization, and risk-management skills.
- High proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel periodically; experience with SAP and integrated ERP or financial reporting systems is a plus.
