Senior Underwriting Property

Location: Mexico City; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Manage an approximately USD 8M gross written premium property portfolio and support portfolio management and accounting closing activities.
• Quote submissions and build a profitable portfolio in the middle and industrial market.
• Apply underwriting methodology, risk appetite, line-setting rules, business guidelines, and pricing requirements.
• Maintain and retain the assigned portfolio while meeting service-level agreements and new-business KPIs.
• Build relationships with customers, producers, brokers, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders.
• Document underwriting analyses and authorizations, support technical advisories and training, and participate in operational improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in middle and industrial market underwriting or strong knowledge of property terms and conditions.
• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, engineering, administration, or a related field.
• Medium to advanced English.
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience handling issues with agents, brokers, and clients.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, teamwork, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
