Location: Tufts Medical Center in downtown Boston, United States

Salary: $600,000–$700,000 annually

What you will do

  • Lead teaching and research activities across the Department of Radiology, including medical student and graduate medical education programs.
  • Create and execute a strategic vision for the department and expand academic radiology services.
  • Guide clinical operations across abdominal, cardiothoracic, emergency, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, mammography, musculoskeletal, and limited pediatric imaging.
  • Develop services and imaging volumes toward regional, national, and international leadership.
  • Promote health equity and partner with an administrative leadership dyad to ensure equitable access to radiology services.
  • Mentor trainees and faculty while building collaborative, diverse, and inclusive teams.

Requirements

  • Successful administrative and leadership experience as a department chair, division chief, or section head at an academic institution.
  • Strong academic record and experience leading clinical operations and program development in radiology.
  • Board certification in at least one radiology specialty.
  • Eligibility for an academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level.
  • Knowledge of healthcare quality, resource and financial management, outcomes improvement, patient safety, and patient experience.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, mentoring, team-building, and change-management skills.

Nice to have

  • Leadership roles in national radiology societies, committees, or special interest groups.
  • Invited talks or teaching experience at the local, national, or international level.
