TL;DR
Logistic Specialist (Gas Turbines) (Supply Chain and Logistics): Providing day-to-day technical and administrative support for supply chain activities in an onsite Beijing role with an accent on import/export operations, transportation, data analysis, and process management. Focus on coordinating procurement, material planning, inventory, and distribution, maintaining supply chain systems, analyzing operational data, and resolving shipping and process issues.

Location: Beijing, China; onsite five days a week

What you will do

  • Support daily supply chain management activities with technical and administrative assistance.
  • Coordinate with procurement, material planning, inventory, and distribution functions to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Enter and maintain data in supply chain application systems.
  • Collect, analyze, and report supply chain operational data.
  • Assist with import and export documentation, customs clearance, transportation arrangements, shipments, and freight procedures.
  • Monitor logistics processes, identify bottlenecks, and help resolve operational and shipping problems.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Working knowledge of process management, logistics management, transportation, import/export procedures, analytical thinking, problem solving, and relationship management.
  • Ability to process detailed information accurately and maintain shipment and invoice records.
  • Ability to work onsite in Beijing five days per week.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
