Mission Operations Coordinator (Autonomous Driving)

Location: Houston, Texas — Depot 2; overnight shift

Salary: $55,800–$75,390 base pay annually, plus annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Coordinate full shifts of fleet operations, including testing, manual data collection, and shift documentation across multiple geographies.
• Translate weekly plans into daily operator schedules, optimize allocations as conditions change, and track plan-versus-actual performance.
• Ensure procedures, checklists, escalation processes, shift reports, and handoff notes are completed consistently.
• Support commercial deliveries by interacting with merchants and customers and coordinating on-road operations.
• Serve as the initial escalation point for technical issues and emergencies, communicating with field operators and responding calmly.
• Lead workflow optimization, automation, planning insights, and process-alignment initiatives with operations stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in resource planning, allocation, optimization, or reporting; fleet management, autonomous driving, or robot operations experience is relevant.
• Ability to schedule operating times for an assigned shift and work rotating shifts.
• Ability to synthesize operational data and use spreadsheets, Data Studio, and Looker to generate insights.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, and remain effective in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule needs.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in resource planning, allocation, and optimization.
• 2+ years of experience in the autonomous vehicle or delivery industry.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
