FVP, Unsecured Consumer Lending

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $115,000–$165,000 per year, plus eligible annual discretionary cash bonus and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Lead business unit production, financial results, growth, profitability, and customer experience for unsecured consumer lending.
• Identify strategic growth and optimization opportunities for unsecured loan products and translate priorities into actionable plans.
• Develop and refine personal loan offer frameworks, including personalization and eligibility criteria.
• Use testing, analytics, and innovation to improve conversion rates, offer performance, and funnel efficiency.
• Partner with Retail Credit, Marketing, Compliance, Product, Banking, and Technology teams on goals, forecasts, metrics, and portfolio objectives.
• Maintain operational excellence, regulatory compliance, risk management, and third-party partner integration quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in consumer lending, unsecured lending, or a closely related financial services field, with a record of driving product or portfolio growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience using data and analytics to inform strategy, set performance targets, and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership, project or team management, and cross-functional stakeholder influence skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical teams and senior executives.
