TL;DR
Senior Financial Analyst (Tableau/Financial Planning): Leading financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis for a global service organization with an accent on P&L ownership, revenue and COGS analysis, and executive dashboards. Focus on automating financial reporting, identifying revenue opportunities, and supporting pricing, investment, and operational decisions with actionable analysis.
Location: Boston, MA, US. If qualified for remote status, commuting to the Boston headquarters once per week is required.
Salary: $78,400–$133,400 annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus and long-term incentive eligibility.

What you will do
- Lead financial analysis and reporting for the global Service organization, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and P&L performance.
- Manage monthly close, revenue and COGS reviews, expense accruals, capital expenditure reviews, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Partner with Service Sales and Operations to improve revenue forecasting and analyze contracts, renewals, upgrades, paid services, and other revenue streams.
- Develop KPI dashboards covering revenue growth, renewal rates, customer retention, and other service metrics.
- Analyze actuals versus budget, forecast, and prior-year results; identify drivers, trends, risks, and revenue opportunities.
- Support business cases, investment decisions, pricing strategies, operational initiatives, and executive-level reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
- Hands-on Tableau experience, including dashboard development and data visualization best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of financial reporting systems; Hyperion or Oracle EPBCS preferred.
- Good knowledge of US GAAP and strong business analytics skills, including transforming raw data from multiple sources into actionable insights.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.

- Experience with Salesforce.
- MBA or CPA qualification.
- Experience supporting service sales and operations organizations.
