What you will do
- Provide technical support for manufacturing operations by troubleshooting PLCs, vision systems, robots, servers, and HMIs.
- Lead or participate in small code and program modifications for industrial control systems.
- Plan and execute change-control projects, equipment and controls qualifications, and vendor or site acceptance testing.
- Participate in technical design reviews for machine requirements and manufacturing or product specifications.
- Train and support Operations Engineers and Technicians in equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Identify and resolve quality, technical, and manufacturing issues, including audit actions, NCRs, and CAPAs, through cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
- 2–4 years of professional experience.
- Ability to write simple code modifications for industrial control systems with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an empowered team environment.
- Ability to work onsite in Jacksonville, Florida.
Nice to have
- Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, AB Studio 5000, Power BI, or Ignition.
- Knowledge of Ladder Logic, Python, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
- Experience programming motion devices, servos, robotic arms, and industrial machine-vision inspection systems.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations, interpreting electrical schematics, and working with equipment vendors.
- Experience in ISO- and FDA-regulated environments.
