Finishing Team Manager - A-Shift

What you will do

• Lead the A-shift finishing team to achieve safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory-control goals.
• Enforce Environmental, Health and Safety policies, coordinate required training, and participate in incident investigations and corrective action plans.
• Implement operational improvements that increase engagement and productivity, improve quality, reduce scrap, and strengthen safety.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, standard work, quality standards, cycle counts, and safety and housekeeping audits.
• Troubleshoot process equipment and product-performance issues and support technical problem-solving.
• Coach, counsel, evaluate, and develop team members while facilitating Enterprise Lean Sigma activities and Kaizen events.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 3 years of leadership, process improvement, and supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lead, coach, delegate, support, and develop a diverse team.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, Enterprise Lean Sigma principles, and lean sigma tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues, solve problems, and implement preventive solutions.
• Effective time management, project management, organizational, and professional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
