Focus on troubleshooting production equipment, managing setups and pack downs, coordinating schedules and resources, and maintaining reliable service during evening and weekend events.
Location: Auckland, New Zealand; based across campuses
Salary: NZD 60,000–70,000 per year, negotiable based on skills and experience; permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

What you will do
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and pack down audio-visual and event production equipment.
- Provide technical support for live events, webinars, hybrid events, live streams, and video content.
- Coordinate event logistics, including furniture, equipment, resources, bookings, schedules, and enquiries.
- Maintain service quality for internal clients across faculties, departments, and campuses.
- Complete risk assessments and maintain health and safety compliance.
- Support team operations by supervising casual staff and maintaining organised storage areas.
Requirements
- Qualification in audio-visual production, lighting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of audio-visual support experience for events and functions.
- Demonstrated experience operating audio-visual and event production equipment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
- High digital capability, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Full driver’s licence, physical capability for manual setup and pack down, and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
