What you will do
- Manage transportation operations and coordinate timely, cost-effective delivery of goods to customers.
- Coordinate transportation plans and customer requirements with Global Business Operations, Account Managers, Sales, Operations, carriers, and 3PL providers.
- Prepare shipment schedules and support outbound shipments across ocean, air, and truck transportation modes.
- Analyze transportation data, maintain KPI reports, and identify opportunities to improve carrier performance, customer service, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor shipment planning results, correct system errors, and collaborate with IT to improve transportation system accuracy and automation.
- Support peak-season capacity planning, shipment monitoring, contingency planning, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, preferably freight transportation.
- Experience with AI and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.
- Experience managing carrier and 3PL service-provider relationships.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Knowledge of Oracle Transport Management or another Transport Management System, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
