What you will do
- Create and manage new product documentation and track approvals through completion.
- Create manufacturing part codes and customer part numbers with accurate product and manufacturing data.
- Initiate engineering work orders for internal and external wafer fabrication, including purchase requisitions where required.
- Coordinate probe, assembly, final test, and qualification activities with backend manufacturing teams, including Microchip Thailand.
- Track engineering materials from wafer start through finished goods and support production release documentation.
- Communicate with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, information services, document control, mask shop, production planning, and wafer fabrication teams.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or at least 3 years of experience in semiconductor product planning or a related area.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain accurate part data across relevant company systems.
- This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
Nice to have
- APICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP, or an equivalent supply chain certification.
- Experience with Tableau or Microsoft Access.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and product lifecycle management tools in a manufacturing environment.
