Electrical Engineer / Applied Physicist (Cryopreservation)

hirify.global is developing organ-scale reversible cryopreservation technology to preserve donated organs at subzero temperatures and rewarm them uniformly for transplantation.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and debug electrical hardware for organ rewarming systems.
• Develop power converters, resonant matching networks, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Model system behavior using circuit theory, electromagnetics, thermal physics, and measurement data.
• Build test fixtures, data acquisition systems, experimental setups, and control software for high-power validation.
• Take ownership of ambiguous problems across the rewarming hardware stack.

Requirements

• Strong command of circuit theory, impedance, resonance, energy storage, electromagnetics, and heat transfer.
• Experience designing, building, and debugging analog and digital circuitry from schematic through bench bring-up.
• Experience with basic control systems, instrumentation, data analysis, and hands-on experimental hardware.
• Ability to make order-of-magnitude estimates and clearly explain physical intuition.
• BS/MS in electrical engineering or physics, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
