Senior Operations Manager (Logistics)

Salary: $116,000–$174,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Oversee daily distribution center operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, loading, shipment verification, material handling, and inventory accuracy.
• Lead and measure operational processes to ensure consistent order fulfillment and production performance.
• Support sales representatives and leadership by addressing service failures, customer concerns, and complaints.
• Manage staffing, performance reviews, compensation processes, training, development, and employee relations for warehouse personnel.
• Maintain safe working practices, safety meetings, housekeeping, records, and compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations.
• Control operating expenses, preserve assets, manage budgets, and oversee major projects and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of management experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent and at least 7 years of management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop subordinates and engage and support warehouse team members.
• Experience managing through multiple managers and/or supervisors, including hiring, work allocation, performance management, and training.
• Strong communication, writing, presentation, decision-making, customer relations, and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, extensive time demands, and complex situations with a high sense of urgency and personal integrity.
