DEAMS Deployment and Training Senior Analyst

Location: Dayton, Ohio, United States; up to 50% travel to deploying bases and assigned MAJCOMs. Work location may change based on client requirements.

Salary: $69,000–$105,000 annually, plus potential bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Represent the DEAMS Functional Management Office during deployment briefings with Air Force bases and points of contact.
• Collect, organize, and analyze site profile, end-user, financial, and deployment data; participate in site visits.
• Support DFAS and Air Force users with registration, training needs, and system role assignments.
• Coordinate training activities and deliver ad hoc and on-the-job instruction by phone, video conference, webinar, and on-site visits.
• Manage deployment and cutover checklists, submit metrics, and provide targeted support based on DEAMS performance data.
• Facilitate strategic communications, change management, and lessons-learned activities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience, including 2 years of direct DEAMS experience.
• Experience with Air Force funds control, accounting, financial analysis, accounts payable, government purchase cards, or the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.
• Proficiency analyzing financial data with Microsoft Excel and Access, including PivotTables and complex functions.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance are required.
• Bachelor’s degree and the ability to brief and communicate effectively with senior leaders and managers.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Air Force legacy systems including IAPS, SBSS, SMAS, GAFS, RTS, ABSS, CRIS, AFM, DTS, G-Invoicing, GPC, JOCAS II, and WAWF.
