Company

hirify.global is a defense technology company designing and manufacturing high-performance unmanned systems at scale.

What you will do

  • Provide first-line technical support for production line-down and slowdown events, including troubleshooting tooling, fixtures, jigs, and station equipment.
  • Own work instructions and standard work for assigned stations, while driving cycle-time reduction, line balancing, and station-level improvements.
  • Design, build, and iterate fixtures and tooling to improve production repeatability and speed.
  • Validate and release process changes through ECR/ECO change control and qualify new or modified processes using first articles and capability studies.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for recurring defects and escapes, partnering with quality on containment, FPY improvement, and verified corrective-action closure.
  • Support NPI builds, process planning, station setup, DFM feedback, and station-level KPI improvement across yield, cycle time, downtime, and scrap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or a related engineering field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a manufacturing, process, or industrial engineer in a hardware production environment.
  • Hands-on production line support experience and the ability to respond to technical issues during shifts.
  • Demonstrated root-cause analysis and experience driving corrective actions through verified closure.
  • Strong floor presence and clear communication with technicians, executives, and product engineers.

Nice to have

  • Fixture and tooling design experience with CAD proficiency, such as SolidWorks.
  • Electronics or electromechanical assembly experience and experience taking products from NPI through DVT/PVT into sustained production.
  • Experience with factory automation, machine vision, robotics, custom equipment, or high-mix manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of lean fundamentals, MES/ERP process planning, PFMEA, and quality verification plans.
  • Startup or high-growth manufacturing experience, including scaling output or establishing new production lines.

Culture & Benefits

  • Fast-paced, hands-on environment focused on closing the gap between design and deployment.
  • Direct involvement with production lines and hardware moving through manufacturing processes.
  • Highly competitive equity grants as part of the total compensation package.
  • Equal opportunity employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
