NAND Core Design Engineer (NAND Flash)

Location: Milpitas, California, United States — onsite at the Milpitas office

Salary: $166,200–$282,500 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate chip architectures and core circuit structures.
• Conduct feasibility studies for high-performance NAND flash memories, including advanced 3D NAND technologies.
• Evaluate circuit behavior using HSPICE, PRIMESIM, and Verilog simulations.
• Perform silicon evaluation when fabricated devices become available.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex technical problems while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to design and evaluate memory circuits and assess new process technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within and beyond the immediate team.

Nice to have

• Experience with DRAM or NAND flash memory cell operation.
• Strong semiconductor device background.
• Experience evaluating new process technologies for design applications.
