Microsoft Power Apps Analyst

Location: Alexandria, Virginia, United States. Work location may change based on client requirements. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Salary: $85,000–$110,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Gather business requirements, define user stories, and translate needs into technical functionality.
• Design, build, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps.
• Develop automated workflows and integrations using Power Automate, connectors, Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and other data sources.
• Apply security, governance, scalability, application lifecycle management, and performance best practices.
• Create Power BI dashboards and reports, and manage testing, deployment, updates, and production support.
• Provide user training and documentation while coordinating with IT and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience building and supporting Microsoft Power Apps solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint Online, SQL databases, Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of application governance, role-based security, environment strategies, and ALM.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
• Experience with Model-Driven Apps and Dataverse architecture.
• Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or other cloud services.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management practices.
