What you will do
- Support engineering and validation activities for electrical and control systems across prototype and development vehicles.
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify vehicle, system, and component performance against requirements, quality standards, reliability expectations, and customer needs.
- Coordinate hands-on testing in laboratories, vehicles, and development environments, including test setup preparation, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and progress documentation.
- Review and analyze test data to identify performance trends, system issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Communicate findings through technical updates, reports, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, marketing, and aftermarket teams to resolve technical concerns and support product release.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a control systems focus.
- Engineer I: new graduate or limited professional experience.
- Engineer II: 1–2 years of engineering experience and/or two internships.
- Basic knowledge of electrical components, circuits, control theory, electric motor drives, power electronics, inverters, and battery management systems.
- Familiarity with real-time control networks, vehicle systems, embedded hardware and software, system integration, and electrical/software interfaces.
- Ability to review test data, troubleshoot system issues, document findings, and collaborate effectively across functions.
