What you will do
- Lead facility operations priorities, KPI achievement, SMART goal deployment, and employee development.
- Drive process improvement initiatives through policies, procedures, and process documentation.
- Deploy demand-driven strategies to improve operational flexibility, speed, responsiveness, and long-range performance.
- Synchronize product, material, and information flows to maximize efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Define resource requirements and manage work within budget and staffing parameters.
- Serve as the SAP Super User for the assigned functional area.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Industrial Technology, or equivalent operations experience.
- At least 5 years of progressive engineering management experience in a similar environment.
- Understanding of financial measurements, operational goals, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong project leadership, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional influencing skills.
- Experience collaborating across multiple sites and functions and managing shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and walk regularly and occasionally lift 25–50 pounds.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management or an MBA.
- Experience using SAP, Oracle, or another ERP/MRP system.
- Experience managing sheet metal fabrication, including laser or punch blanking, press brake forming, welding, and powder coating.
- Experience with capital asset management and bringing new assets online through installation, training, and production execution.
