Finance Intern

Location: Amsterdam, hybrid; candidates must be based in the Netherlands for the full six-month internship and work from the office most of the week.

Allowance: €625 per month for 40 hours and 5 days per week, plus full reimbursement of travel expenses.

What you will do

• Generate and analyze financial and routine reports.
• Assist with financial reporting, monthly closing analysis, and monthly performance reviews.
• Support sales and supply chain teams with financial and analytical activities.
• Manage accruals, invoices, pricing, promotions, disputes, and master data.
• Conduct forecasting and cost variance analysis.
• Take ownership of projects and work with the business on day-to-day challenges.

Requirements

• Be enrolled at a European university for at least 50% of the internship duration.
• Be in the final stage of a bachelor's degree or pursuing a master's degree in engineering, supply chain, computer science, econometrics, mathematics, business administration, finance, or economics.
• EU working rights are required: EU citizenship or current study in the Netherlands.
• English proficiency is required in both written and spoken communication.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong communication and analytical abilities, and good organization.
• Be a flexible, self-motivated team player who can work under pressure in a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• Eagerness to learn about supply chain and logistics in an international, fast-moving environment.
• Preference for FP&A, sales finance, trade investment, or logistics finance, which will be considered where possible.
