DEAMS Financial Senior Analyst (Air Force Financial Management)

Location: Dayton, Ohio, and various other locations in the United States. Work location may change based on client requirements.

Salary: $69,000–$105,000 per year, plus potential bonuses and overtime pay.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day Air Force Financial Management operations for Air Force Major Commands, Space Force Field Commands, and bases.
• Analyze and reconcile open accounting transaction balances and historical execution across Department of the Air Force commodities.
• Perform trend, fallout, fall-in, and root-cause analysis to identify issues and corrective actions.
• Navigate Air Force accounting and feeder systems to validate and review financial data entries.
• Handle help desk inquiries, review metrics, and provide targeted user assistance.
• Deliver training to Air Force financial managers and support surge and end-of-year processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of Air Force Financial Management and DEAMS experience.
• Experience with Air Force funds control, accounting, financial analysis, accounts payable, government purchase cards, treasury reporting, or working capital funds.
• Ability to analyze financial data using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Detailed familiarity with Air Force Lines of Accounting and financial data elements.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience reviewing computed travel vouchers, miscellaneous collection vouchers, and disbursement vouchers.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Azure, or HighBond.
• Familiarity with Air Force financial systems including AFM, CDS, CRIS, DCAS, DCMS, DDRS, DTIM, FMSuite, GAFS-BL, GAFS-R, IPAC, JOCAS, MOCAS, RTS, SBSS, SMAS, and WAWF.
