TL;DR
Landscape Architect 2 (Urban Planning/Master Planning): Leading and supporting landscape architecture, urban planning, and master planning projects from concept through construction with an accent on campus-scale planning, site design, zoning, and community engagement. Focus on integrating landscape architecture with mobility and development strategy, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering technically consistent project documentation.
Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; Chicago or St. Louis. Occasional travel is required for nationwide clients and projects.

What you will do
- Lead and support landscape and master planning projects across all phases, from concept through construction.
- Develop urban planning and urban design concepts for site, district, campus, community, and large-scale development plans.
- Coordinate architecture, planning, construction, and real estate disciplines to integrate design and constructability.
- Contribute to proposals, presentations, business development, and pursuit strategies.
- Apply expertise in planning, zoning, entitlements, environmental design, and community engagement.
- Coordinate deliverables, participate in civic and industry engagements, and mentor colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Landscape Architecture; urban planning or urban design education is advantageous.
- 8+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture, urban planning, or urban design.
- Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) licensure is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS tools including ArcView and ArcGIS, Rhino, and SketchUp.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, and colleague-coaching skills.
