College of Nursing Non-Tenure Track Faculty (Applicant Pool) (Nursing Education)

Location: One of the five hirify.global College of Nursing campus sites in Bozeman, Billings, Great Falls, Kalispell, or Missoula; travel among campuses and to clinical agencies is required.

hirify.global’s Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing provides accredited undergraduate and graduate nursing education across five Montana campuses.

What you will do

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses using in-person active learning, simulation, online, distance-delivered, and clinical instruction.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and continuous quality improvement.
• Provide service or outreach aligned with the College and campus missions.
• Build collaborative relationships with clinical agencies, practitioners, faculty, staff, and other disciplines.
• Participate in professional development and maintain current knowledge in nursing.
• Travel to campus meetings and clinical agencies as required.

Requirements

• Unencumbered RN license to practice nursing in Montana.
• BSN or master’s degree in nursing.
• Successful nursing work experience and demonstrated clinical competence in the teaching area.
• Ability to use information technology to prepare and present instructional materials.
• Ability to work collegially with diverse students and colleagues.
• For DNP instruction: APRN license and current Psychiatric Mental Health or Family Nurse Practitioner certification in Montana.

Nice to have

• DNP degree for teaching in the DNP program.
• Master’s degree in nursing for teaching in the BSN program.
• Experience teaching college or adult learners.
• Experience with advanced educational or simulation technology.
• Commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.

• Positions with at least 0.5 FTE may be represented by the Associated Faculty of hirify.global.
