Focus on leading thematic reviews, challenging risk assessments and controls, and advising senior stakeholders on emerging technology risks including AI.

What you will do
- Provide independent second-line oversight, review, challenge, and guidance on Technology and Data Risk across the bank.
- Partner with technology and business teams to identify and manage risks throughout major change and transformation initiatives.
- Shape and embed risk frameworks, policies, and standards support secure and sustainable business growth.
- Challenge risk assessments, control effectiveness, remediation plans, and risk acceptance decisions against risk appetite and regulatory obligations.
- Monitor emerg risks, industry developments, and regulatory changes, includ risks related to AI and digital transformation.
- Lead thematic reviews, deep dives, and assurance activities while build a proactive, risk-aware culture across the organisation.
Requirements
- Experience in Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, Information Security, Operational Risk, Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management within bank or financial services.
- Strong understand of technology and data risk, cybersecurity, operational resilience, and risk governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of CPS 220, CPS 230, CPS 234, and broader operational resilience and third-party risk obligations.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders, provide constructive challenge, and simplify complex issues into practical business-focused solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-build skills across technology, risk, compliance, and business teams.
- Relevant qualifications in technology, business, risk, or finance; CISA, CISM, CRISC, or similar certifications are highly regarded.
