Senior Director Operations

Location: On-site in North East, Maryland, United States

Salary: $136,815–$200,624 per year

What you will do

• Direct warehousing, distribution, and transportation activities for the distribution center.
• Implement operating policies and processes that support safe, efficient, cost-effective facility operations and customer service.
• Lead lean daily management, root-cause problem solving, productivity initiatives, and cost-control procedures.
• Oversee inventory control, shrinkage targets, equipment maintenance, capital expenditure recommendations, and facility utilization.
• Maintain security, safety, sanitation, health, and OSHA compliance programs.
• Build communication with warehouse management, customers, and internal departments while developing leaders and resolving order discrepancies.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of warehouse or distribution experience.
• At least 7 years of progressive leadership experience.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Experience with MS Office, Power BI, Manhattan, and Blue Yonder for data analytics and results management.
• Ability to work varied shifts and overtime as required.
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds and work in variable-temperature warehouse and outdoor conditions.
