Decision Analytics Associate Consultant (Biometrics)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with regular work-from-home and on-site presence at client or hirify.global offices

Salary: $120,000–$137,000 per year, plus potential cost-of-living adjustments, bonuses, relocation support, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead or co-lead workstreams, managing activities, timelines, deliverables, and project quality.
• Drive clinical data and biometrics transformation initiatives for pharmaceutical sponsors and CROs.
• Support Phase I–IV clinical trials across clinical data collection, management, transformation, analysis, and submission.
• Analyze clinical data flows, systems, and standards, including EDC platforms, non-EDC sources, CDISC SDTM, and ADaM.
• Design, specify, or oversee pipelines that transform EDC and non-EDC data into submission-ready datasets.
• Develop AI-focused programs for data review automation, anomaly detection, edit-check optimization, programming productivity, and documentation generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific, analytical, or technical discipline; a PhD may substitute for work experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in clinical data management, statistical programming, biometrics, or related clinical development functions within a pharmaceutical sponsor, biotechnology company, or CRO.
• Direct hands-on experience supporting Phase I–IV human clinical trials is required.
• Experience with clinical trial datasets from EDC and non-EDC sources, including laboratory data, ECG, ePRO/eCOA, imaging, PK/PD, wearables, or real-world data.
• Understanding of GCP, clinical trial operations, regulatory expectations, and clinical data standards such as CDISC and SDTM.
• Ability to lead workstreams, manage requirements, collaborate with clients, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• English fluency is required. Work authorization in the United States is required; the position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
