Principal Product Line Manager, Women's Footwear

Location: Hybrid role based at the headquarters near Portland, Oregon, United States; onsite four days per week with more than 20% domestic and global travel.

What you will do

• Own and manage seasonal women's footwear products through the SOREL creation process.
• Brief category-specific products to the triad and drive target costs and margins at product and category level.
• Apply footwear material, construction, consumer, trend, and analytical insights during design and prototype reviews.
• Prepare milestone presentations and proof product-line materials including catalogs, packaging, labels, hang tags, and point-of-purchase assets.
• Build cross-functional relationships with merchandising, sales, marketing, and planning to support on-time product launches.
• Maintain accurate system data and support product preparation for retailers, stakeholders, and sales representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent education, in business, product management, product development, or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant hands-on experience, including 8+ current years in the apparel, outdoor, or fashion industry.
• Strong knowledge of footwear materials and construction, global go-to-market processes, QT manufacturing, operations capabilities, and apparel manufacturing.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, leadership, people-management, strategic-thinking, negotiation, problem-solving, and process-management skills.
• Experience working with offshore factories and managing teams in high-workflow, high-pressure environments.
• Ability to travel domestically and globally more than 20% of the year.
