Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; onsite at the Crossman Service Building
Salary: $143,000–$286,000 gross annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do
- Design and implement sophisticated features in native Walmart Android and iOS applications.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to optimize Android user experiences.
- Experiment with technologies, build prototypes, and integrate AI/ML components to improve automation and product functionality.
- Manage code, configurations, environments, controls, and release processes.
- Lead technical development, enforce quality standards and SOLID principles, and mentor junior engineers.
- Use industry research and data-driven practices to improve the technology environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in object-oriented design and software development.
- 10+ years of experience in pure native development.
- 6+ years of experience with Kotlin for Android/iOS development.
- 3+ years of experience with WebView or hybrid mobile application development.
- Understanding of MVVM, clean architecture, compilers, linkers, build systems, and project configuration.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 4 years of software engineering experience, or 6 years of relevant software engineering experience.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards and working with assistive technologies.
