What you will do

• Define and oversee commercial data governance, acquisition operations, standards, controls, and policies.
• Lead governance, contracting coordination, onboarding readiness, access planning, and operational transition for new data assets.
• Manage vendor lifecycle activities, including performance routines, renewals, service expectations, issue escalation, and data quality follow-through.
• Partner with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, Technology, Data Management, Data Science, and external vendors on data rights, usage terms, access, and operational feasibility.
• Serve as the point of contact for US healthcare and other relevant data acquisition audits, overseeing documentation, evidence collection, remediation, and control follow-through.
• Provide budget planning, vendor spend tracking, renewal visibility, resource planning, and operational input into commercial data strategy.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 4 years, master's degree and 8 years, or bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in data acquisition, data governance, commercial data operations, vendor management, commercial analytics, data strategy, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of direct people management or leadership experience directing teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
• Experience establishing governance vision, operating strategy, standards, controls, and execution plans for commercial data operations.
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare data sources, including sales, customer, patient, provider, payer, claims, specialty pharmacy, lab, EHR/EMR, media, access, and real-world data.
• Strong executive stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, process management, project leadership, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to define and track KPIs for vendor performance, data usage, access, onboarding, catalog completeness, issue resolution, renewals, audit readiness, and spend.
