Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering (Logistics)

Location: Hybrid role based in Naperville or Romeoville, Illinois, or Dallas, Texas; periodic multi-state travel of approximately 50% or more is required.

Salary: $125,200–$183,590 per year

What you will do

• Lead a team of industrial engineers across multiple distribution centers.
• Manage industrial engineering projects, including Blue Yonder/JDA Labor Management System implementations.
• Develop, maintain, and validate engineered labor standards through time studies and process analysis.
• Design distribution center layouts in AutoCAD to improve space utilization and material flow.
• Identify improvements to methods, equipment, procedures, and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, train employees, and promote operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in distribution process engineering, including JDA Labor Management, time studies, AutoCAD, and Lean principles.
• 4+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification required, along with experience implementing Lean projects.
• Advanced AutoCAD skills and proficiency with Blue Yonder/JDA Labor Management software.
• Ability to travel between multiple states by air, rail, rental, or personal vehicle approximately 50% or more of the time.
