Salary: $97,700–$130,300 annually

What you will do

• Provide underwriting guidance, counsel, and authorization for commercial and residential title insurance commitments and policies.
• Evaluate title risk and underwrite transactions within delegated authority and company guidelines.
• Analyze complex title issues and develop practical underwriting solutions for high-liability and multi-state transactions.
• Advise internal personnel and customers on title, escrow, and real estate settlement matters.
• Interpret and communicate underwriting requirements, standards, and guidelines while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, legal, and agency teams to support successful real estate transactions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of land title insurance underwriting experience, including commercial underwriting.
• Extensive knowledge of title insurance principles, title examination, escrow and settlement practices, and real estate law.
• Experience with complex, high-liability, and multi-state commercial transactions.
• Thorough understanding of ALTA policies, endorsements, underwriting guidelines, and title insurance regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, negotiation, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Proficiency with title production systems and Microsoft Office applications.
