Internal Control Assessment Associate (Auditing)

Location: Onsite in Camp Springs, Maryland, 5 days per week. Work location may change based on client requirements. US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain US Suitability clearance.

Salary: $60,000–$78,000 per year in base pay, plus potential overtime pay, benefits contributions, and bonuses.

What you will do

• Conduct tests of design and tests of operating effectiveness for financial business processes.
• Lead process walkthroughs and document current-state business processes.
• Perform transaction-level testing and document testing results.
• Develop reporting and presentation materials as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in financial management, internal controls, testing, auditing, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Understanding of financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Camp Springs, Maryland, five days per week.
• US Citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain US Suitability clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with OMB Circular A-123.
• DHS-specific experience.
• CPA certification.
