Fuels Distribution System Operator (Aviation Fuel)

Location: Gila Bend, Arizona, at Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field. Onsite work in the local outdoor environment, including some evenings and weekends.

hirify.global provides fuels distribution and operational support services at an Air Force auxiliary field.

What you will do

• Dispense aviation and ground fuel as directed by the resource control center and share dispatcher/computer operator responsibilities.
• Refuel and defuel transient aircraft and organizational support fuel tanks.
• Operate 5,000- and 1,000-gallon refueling vehicles and monitor equipment for abnormal conditions.
• Complete fuel receipt, issue, inspection, and shift-closeout documentation.
• Perform vehicle checkpoint operations, corrosion control, and first-echelon preventive maintenance.
• Obtain and test fuel samples, assist with personnel training, and maintain environmental, occupational safety, and security compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in an aviation fuels field.
• Ability to work extended periods outdoors and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Valid Arizona driver's license and a current Class B driver's license with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.
• United States citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance are required.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug test.
