Senior Product Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia; onsite at the Krubong facility.

What you will do

• Design and develop optocoupler products and packages for new product introduction.
• Evaluate products, designs, materials, processes, and costs, and recommend improvements.
• Lead and manage product development projects according to development schedules.
• Define package characteristics to meet electrical requirements.
• Develop manufacturing process equipment and tooling for prototypes, engineering production, and mass production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, semiconductor technology, microelectronics, mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical engineering, or physics.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an IC or semiconductor environment.
• Good knowledge of semiconductor packaging processes, materials, and technology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with 2D AutoCAD and 3D drafting.
