Salary: $22.16–$29.56 hourly

provides title insurance protection and professional settlement services for real estate purchases, refinances, and equity loans. Its Direct division develops zoning technology products that support real estate and development analysis.
What you will do
- Conduct detailed zoning and land-use analysis for commercial, residential, mixed-use, and development properties in New York City.
- Interpret zoning regulations and convert them into scalable business logic, structured datasets, and automated reporting workflows.
- Support GIS processing, parcel analysis, subdistrict validation, and the integration of zoning datasets into operational systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, software developers, GIS specialists, operations, and leadership to improve zoning automation tools, rules engines, Envelope, and Sightline.
- Lead product demonstrations and provide zoning expertise during client meetings, inquiries, and customer enablement activities.
- Monitor changes to the NYC Zoning Resolution and Department of City Planning initiatives, recommending product and operational updates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of NYC zoning, land use, architecture, planning, or development experience.
- Deep knowledge of the NYC Zoning Resolution, City of Yes amendments, special districts, and zoning lot mergers.
- Experience interpreting zoning for mixed-use, residential, commercial, and large-scale development projects.
- Ability to explain complex zoning concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and deliver client presentations.
- Experience working with architects, land-use attorneys, developers, or realtors.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with GIS, tax lot datasets, or zoning applications.
- Experience or interest in Python, Java, or Regex.
