Certified Surgical Technician - Surgical Services - OR - Full Time - BAYLOR - Fri/Sat/Sun

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite Baylor schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00am–7:30pm.

Compensation: Work 36 hours per week and get paid for 44 hours per week.

What you will do

• Identify and prepare sterile instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team with verification, intra-operative procedures, and case closure protocols.
• Review surgical bookings and match procedures to preference cards.
• Select instrumentation accurately using surgical preference cards.
• Inspect instruments for sterility, safety, and function.
• Evaluate the surroundings to maintain the sterile field and respond appropriately to emergencies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Tech in Surgery (TS-C) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist registration required, unless another current New Hampshire state license is held.
• Operating room experience is preferred.
