Associate Director, Engineering Projects (R&D)

Location: Lexington, Massachusetts, United States; in-office or on-site. Domestic and international travel may be required up to 15% of the time.

Base compensation: $175,000–$225,000 per year, plus eligibility for a company bonus and long-term incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead delivery of the IPG CAPEX program and provide PMO and project execution controls.
• Manage project scope, schedules, costs, risks, change control, and performance reporting.
• Support US R&D Operations with engineering, project planning, prioritization, and portfolio execution.
• Own Operations Engineering and planning strategy as the CAPEX program transitions to completion.
• Oversee capital projects from concept and approval through execution and close-out.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Lab Operations, EH&S, Workplace Services, contract support, business partners, authorities having jurisdiction, and vendors.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering projects, capital programs, and project portfolios.
• Ability to establish governance and manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, and change control.
• Experience supporting operational planning and cross-functional project execution.
• Ability to work on-site and occasionally handle equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Experience supervising personnel, setting development plans, and managing performance goals.
