SVP, Self-Directed Trading Platform Management (Fintech): Leading the strategy, modernization, product innovation, and growth of a consumer self-directed trading business with an accent on platform integration, profitability, and regulatory compliance. Focus on defining the investment roadmap, managing P&L and budgets, integrating trading tools into digital banking platforms, and coordinating cross-functional execution across technology, operations, risk, compliance, marketing, and banking.
Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States
Salary: $175,000-$250,000 per year, plus discretionary annual cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 30% each.

What you will do
- Lead and manage the consumer retail self-directed trading business.
- Define the strategic roadmap, expand the investment portfolio, launch investment products, and modernize supporting processes and systems.
- Oversee P&L performance, annual budgeting, cost controls, income generation, marketing efforts, and expense management.
- Partner with technology, operations, risk, compliance, marketing, banking, and executive stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
- Integrate trading tools into mobile and desktop platforms to create a seamless banking and trading experience.
- Oversee management reporting and regulatory audit readiness for processes and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in trading, investments, or financial services.
- Proven product development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated success in leadership, business growth, and sales performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a consultative client-servicing approach.
- Employment eligibility verification is required for work in the United States through E-Verify; offers are contingent on credit, criminal background, and drug screening.
Nice to have
- Active FINRA Series 7 license.
- Experience with Salesforce, Orion, VEO, or comparable platforms.
- Fintech experience.
