What you will do
- Perform diagnostic radiology and computed tomography examinations.
- Complete related clerical and clinical system duties using RPMS, EHR, training, and PACS systems.
- Verify patient demographics and maintain image quality control.
- Perform computed tomography examinations independently.
- Provide medical imaging coverage beyond scheduled hours when emergency cases require it.
- Complete mandatory CSU training monthly or as needed.
Requirements
- Certification from a radiology organization, such as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or an ARRT sonography credential, supported by the required higher education degree.
- At least two years of experience in a hospital setting.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Image Gently and Image Wisely certification or training.
- Provide immunization records proving immunity or prior disease before beginning work.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to tribal and village customs, traditional healers, language needs, and other cultural factors; use an interpreter when necessary.
