TL;DR
UX Designer, AVP - Finance and Operations Technology (Finance and Operations Technology): Designing end-to-end experiences for finance and operations applications supporting fund operations, investor servicing, reporting, document administration, onboarding, and financial data management with an accent on user research, workflow design, prototyping, and enterprise design systems. Focus on simplifying complex financial processes, building scalable interfaces, and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders throughout delivery.
Location: New York, United States
Salary: $140,000–$200,000 annual base salary

What you will do
- Lead UX design initiatives across Finance and Operations applications and product workstreams.
- Define product vision, user workflows, and experience strategies with product managers and engineering teams.
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workflow analysis, and usability testing.
- Create user journeys, task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Translate complex financial and operational processes into simple, scalable interfaces.
- Contribute to the Investor Portal design system and advocate for user-centered design practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in UX, product design, interaction design, or a related discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, including research, problem definition, workflow design, and user interface design.
- Experience designing complex web applications and workflow-driven enterprise products.
- Experience scaling enterprise design systems with reusable components, patterns, and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency with modern design and AI-enabled prototyping tools such as Figma, plus experience in Agile product development environments.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial services, asset management, fintech, or enterprise operations.
- Experience designing dashboards, reporting experiences, workflow systems, or operational platforms.
- Knowledge of data visualization, information architecture, accessibility, and inclusive design practices.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing programs.
