What you will do
- Design, maintain, and execute automated testing solutions and frameworks.
- Define automation strategy and support strategic quality initiatives.
- Develop test data management strategies and evaluate tools, hardware, and software for test objectives.
- Investigate complex testing challenges, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve problems caused by changing technologies.
- Review test strategies and plans, collaborate with QA, development, architecture, business, and support teams.
- Mentor less experienced staff and help manual testers develop automation skills.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing solutions.
- 2+ years as an Automation Team Lead or in another leadership role.
- 2+ years working with Agile methodology and test automation techniques.
- Experience with QTP/UFT or Selenium, keyword- and data-driven frameworks, web service testing tools, and continuous integration.
- Programming or scripting experience with Java, Ruby, or VBScript, plus strong experience writing complex SQL queries.
- BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
