2027 2L Summer Associate (Seattle, WA)

Location: Seattle, Washington; work in the Seattle office

Salary: $2,900–$3,100 per week

What you will do

• Conduct legal research projects.
• Draft written discovery requests and responses, motions, legal correspondence, and legal updates.
• Observe and participate in strategic planning for depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
• Participate in witness interviews and client meetings.
• Complete a variety of additional assignments during the 10-week summer program.

Requirements

• Be a second-year law student participating in the 2027 summer associate program.
• Rank in the top third of the class.
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Show leadership, commitment, time-management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Have an undergraduate degree demonstrating academic excellence and critical-thinking ability, with an interest in management-side labor and employment law.
