Location: 100% remote; must reside in the United States
Salary: USD $150 per hour
Company
supports the Department of Health and Human Services through medical review and report-writing services for the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program.
What you will do
- Serve as a Contract Medical Reviewer and write medical eligibility determination recommendations.
- Apply government-provided training, instructions, and report templates to case reviews.
- Complete a minimum of 10 edited and finalized medical reports.
- Incorporate feedback from the review of the first five reports to improve report quality.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead, physicians, nurse practitioners, and the Chenega HRSA team.
Requirements
- Medical degree with board certification or board eligibility in primary care or a relevant specialty, including Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Allergy & Immunology, or Neurology.
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted physician license or registration from a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
- More than five years of recent clinical experience.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Experience prioritizing business and information needs with management.
- Must reside in the United States and be eligible for a government security clearance investigation.
Nice to have
- Experience in claims review or a related field.
- Experience in medical writing.
