Vice President & General Manager (Broadcast Media)

What you will do

• Oversee operations for WLNS and operational agreements supporting WLAJ.
• Lead television, digital, mobile, and social media assets serving the Lansing market.
• Manage high-performing sales and news teams and coordinate with department heads and staff.
• Develop locally originated content for OTT, linear, web, and social platforms.
• Drive audience engagement, digital advertising solutions, new business development, and overall reach.
• Build relationships with community leaders and key station clients while promoting operational efficiency and teamwork.

Requirements

• At least five years of broadcast management experience at a commercial broadcast television station with digital assets.
• Demonstrated experience leading broadcast operational teams within sales-driven organizations.
• Strong understanding of advanced digital advertising solutions and new business development.
• Proven ability to manage sales and news teams, collaborate across departments, and execute strategic plans.
• Experience creating local content and engaging community leaders and station clients.
