What you will do
- Serve as the field-based medical expert for the bone health therapeutic area across the assigned territory.
- Communicate clinical, scientific, clinical value, outcomes, and economic information to healthcare stakeholders, payers, providers, advocacy groups, and access enablers.
- Develop and execute local Scientific Engagement Plans and Opinion Leader plans aligned with medical strategy.
- Provide clinical and pharmacoeconomic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees while reporting field insights to internal stakeholders.
- Support sponsored research, investigator-initiated proposals, speaker training, and congress activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to MSL projects, training, mentoring, and strategy execution.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree, or a master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
- Experience in scientific or medical affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.
- Ability to engage healthcare decision-makers, including payers, providers, IDNs, formulary committees, and investigators.
- Strong clinical acumen, scientific communication, professionalism, and compliance awareness.
- Ability to work in a field-based role covering the specified Texas territory.
Nice to have
- Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
- Two years of industry experience at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
- Managed market, payer, or IDN engagement experience.
- Osteoporosis and bone health therapeutic area expertise.
