DePuy Synthes R&D Engineer Co-Op (Orthopedics)

Location: Hybrid role based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, or Raynham, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $23.50–$52.50 per hour, based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience.

Johnson & Johnson MedTech develops healthcare and medical technology solutions, with the Orthopaedics business planned to operate as DePuy Synthes following a planned separation.

What you will do

• Support the development and commercialization of orthopedic sports medicine products.
• Contribute to product design and prototyping activities.
• Perform product testing and support technical evaluations.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
• Work closely with R&D and cross-functional team members.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
• Completion of the undergraduate freshman year at an accredited university.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge or experience with CAD software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
• Permanent authorization to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
