Manufacturing Engineering Manager (Automotive)

Location: Loznica, Serbia; onsite plant role

What you will do

• Lead the plant-level Engineering, Maintenance, AME, Automation, and Continuous Improvement functions.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term engineering strategies aligned with plant and business objectives.
• Drive automation, innovation, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance.
• Lead engineering activities for new product launches, APQP, process validation, capacity planning, and manufacturing capability development.
• Manage departmental resources, including CAPEX and OPEX budgets, while ensuring process, equipment, customer, and safety requirements are met.
• Lead, develop, and engage multidisciplinary teams while supporting talent development and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, including leadership experience.
• Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry and with manufacturing processes, APQP, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing engineering projects, manufacturing processes, and new product launches.
• Demonstrated ability to lead Engineering, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, or Manufacturing Operations teams autonomously.
• Good English language skills required.
